Who We Are?
DayOne Reliance Incorporated is a nonprofit organization providing education and personalized management opportunities to families of individuals with special needs. The organization focuses on life care planning opportunities that will enrich the lives of special needs individual’s without jeopardizing government benefits or entitlements through multiple trust options.
Board of Directors
DayOne Reliance has a voluntary Board of Directors consisting of no more than 11 members which meet 4 times a year. The Board of Directors are responsible for setting new policies and overseeing the long term planning of the organization.
DayOne Reliance Charitable Fund Recipients
Thumbuddy Special raises funds to support children with disabilities and their families. Thumbuddy Special funds adaptive bikes, ramps, special recreation camps, accessible vans and sponsors a day of pampering for our moms who care for their children with special needs. In addition, we serve families who struggle through financial hardships. During the holiday season, we provide cheer (gifts, giftcards) to over 500 families.
Project Mobility makes a positive difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities. We use adaptive cycling to get people active, involved and engaged.
Valley Sheltered Workshop Empowerment through employment. To provide adults with developmental disabilities a safe and supportive environment to help them achieve purposeful live through the development of work skills.
Fox Valley Special Recreation Foundation supports recreation, leisure, and social opportunities provided for people with disabilities.
The Joshua Tree Community is a Day Program for people with Intellectual Disabilities over the age of 22.
